Non-medical companies provide companionship services to those in need of light assistance in order to remain independent in their home. These services typically include meal preparation and light housekeeping.  Limited personal cares may also be available.

Respite

Respite is short-term or temporary care of a sick or disabled individual to provide relief to the primary caregiver who is usually a family member. It can be scheduled on a regular basis or as the need arises. Respite can be provided in the home by outside services or may be provided by facilities.
